BELLA Thorne defiantly showed off her hairy armpits on the red carpet for the Rome premiere of her new film Midnight Sun.
The actress, 20, looked incredible in figure-hugging scarlet gown and fully embraced her body hair for the glam occasion.
The American starlet has long been an advocate of women rocking body hair, should they wish to, and she led by example in the Italian capital.
Writing on InStyle last year, Bella addressed the criticism she had faced for growing her body hair.
She said: “Guys feel more manly when they have body hair, right? So what’s the problem with a woman wanting to feel more manly (or, in my case, just lazy AF)? Because I have a vagina, I have to be feminine all the time? Excuse me, but no.
“Whether I’m a tomboy or a rebel, I’m comfortable with it, so why shouldn’t you be? If you really want my legs and armpits shaved so badly, you can do it yourself.
“Wait, I take that back: I’ll shave my own armpits if need be because I don’t trust any of you city slickers next to my precious axilla!As much as I see myself and other girls get hate for having body hair. God forbid I’m not all waxed and oiled up AT ALL TIMES. But you guys want to know something kind of awesome well, at least I think it’s k”armpit,” it comes up with a pH๏τo of a lightly hairy armpit on a GIRL. Hell yes.”
At the premiere Bella was snapped walking the red carpet in a satin dress with plunging neckline.
Her gown featured off-the-shoulder straps and swept across floor behind her as she posed for pictures at The Space Moderno cinema.
She left little to the imagination with her busty display and accessorised with several strings of beads on both her left wrist and around her neck.
Bella topped off her look with bright red eye-shadow and lipstick, sweeping her long, dark hair into a glamorous up ‘do.
In the romantic flick, Bella stars as a teen called Katie Price who suffers from a rare genetic condition, which causes a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight.
Bella’s red carpet look in Rome was a far cry from the one she debuted in Utah, America, last month.
The former Disney star underwent a drastic makeover for the Sundance Film Festival and showed off a head of raven hair.
But Bella loves nothing more than to mix-up her style, so it is no surprise she’s now reverted back to her auburn tresses.
Hours before her red carpet appearance in Rome, the actress hit back at a fan who had mocked her style.
